The Position

We are seeking a junior electrician to work with the team on the delivery of automation systems. As part of the team your feedback will be expected to continually improve our workflows and final product quality.   • Wire, build and install electrical control panels/systems as required
  • Interpretation of electrical schematics and assist with documentation updates and changes.
  • Liaise with team leads to ensure project plan is adhered to.
  • Ensure close communication with other project team members ensuring all electrical requirements are met.
  • Routine checking of all types of electrical systems, including fault finding and repair. Carry out full electrical testing on all systems.
  • Work with Safety Systems, PLC’s, Servo Drives, Industrial Networks, Vision Systems and Robotics.
  • Liaise with electrical design throughout the process ensuring full comprehension of electrical drawings and requirements also ensuring any changes are reflected in the electrical drawings.
  • Support site installations as required.
  • Develop an in-depth electrical knowledge to meet the requirements of technology advancement keeping up to date with electrical standards.
  • Ensure all duties are carried out adhering to health and safety policy.
  • Complete records in accordance with the Quality Management System and follow procedures

The Person

  • The successful candidate with hold an electrical qualification (Level 6 Trade qualification).
  • Electrical panel and machine wiring experience as well as knowledge of safety systems, electronics, PLC’s, industrial networks, vision systems and robotics a distinct advantage.
  • Strong team player with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Self-motivating with a tidy appearance
  • Be approachable / friendly manner with good communication for liaising internally and with customers.
  • Be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude, taking pride in producing quality work.
  • Have an eye for detail to maintain the high standards upon which the company has built its excellent reputation.
  • Ensure duties are carried out with full awareness of cGMP and Safe Working Practices.
