The Position

Your department and team:

The Diagnostics Data Office (DDO) is part of the Roche Information Solutions Data & Analytics Chapter. The team focuses on two main areas:

One focus is facilitating the execution of the data strategy for Roche Diagnostics. In this area, we make sure our data is FAIR and can be used again, and again, and again. In the second focus area, we promote a future-oriented data culture where science based and insights-driven decision making is our business. Data literacy plays a key role here, as it is defined as the ability to read, write and communicate data in the organizational context.

Your host team is located in Mannheim and Basel and consists of mainly 9 international team members that focus on the above mentioned areas.

During the internship in our dynamic, international team you will be responsible for the following:

  • Participate in the development and implementation of local/global data & digital learning projects with cross-functional impact

  • Maintain, develop and manage the lifecycle of the glossary to introduce a unified language around digital and data topics. This includes ensuring the quality of the content presented.

  • Collaborate with the cross-functional Digital & Data Academy squad to support the development of key skills and abilities

  • Conduct to the data literacy strategy based on data & analytics strategy

  • Identify opportunities to improve our KPIs for measuring success

Your profile:

  • You are currently enrolled at university (studying business administration, business informatics or a similar degree) or in a gap year between degrees

  • You are excited about the opportunities that lay in the area of digital and data for healthcare

  • You have a proactive mindset, are not afraid to learn new skills and understand the importance of continuous learning

  • You have the ability to understand complex relationships and present them in a simplified way

  • English is a must, German language skills are a plus
