Job Overview:
- To perform general ledger operations for Biogen’s APAC Affiliates, including but not limited to month end close activities, fixed assets, intercompany transactions.
- To provide an accurate and timely reporting of all monthly and quarterly financial information including PnL, BS, VAT, CIT and other packages in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- To provide ad hoc support to affiliates finance teams based on requests.
Accountabilities:
- Responsible for Month end closing activities in collaboration with key stakeholder, including general accounting, Fixed assets, intercompany, account receivable ledger, etc…
- Providing reporting of PnL, BS and other various schedules.
- Coordinate with external service provider to complete VAT filing on bi-monthly/quarterly basis.
- Work with tax team to complete CIT calculation template.
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly balance sheet review
- Other analysis performed on a monthly/quarterly manner
- Cooperation with consultants in preparation of statutory financial statements
- Providing data and explanations for internal and external auditors
- And other job duties that may be assigned.
Familiar with US GAAP, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), understanding on K-GAAP and EAS.- 2+ years’ experience in international accounting with GL function.
- 2+ Tax (VAT&CIT) and reporting experience.
- Good understanding on various AP/AR/CM/FA processes
- Good Knowledge of Oracle R12
- Good knowledge of MS Office package (Outlook, Excel)
- Experience in Continuous Improvement
- Healthcare/pharma/Life sciences industry background an advantage.
- Clear thinking, good analytical skills & ability to perform under the pressure.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, orally and in writing. Fluent in Korean is a plus.
