Summary
You will be responsible to assist with the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Team Leader - Housekeeping is responsible to assist to manage all functions related to the cleanliness of the hotel’s guest rooms and floors.
To provide courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Hyatt Regency Dubai & Galleria Standards of Performance.
To have a complete knowledge of chemical products and their proper and economical use.
To be entirely flexible and adapt to rotate within the different sub departments of the Rooms Division or any other Department of the Hotel as assigned.
To have a complete knowledge of all Housekeeping machines and equipment for operation and maintenance as dictated in operation.
To inspect all arrival rooms, check outs, VIP’s and long stay guest rooms in designated areas daily.
To inspect all facilities, furniture and fixtures and report any damages to Housekeeping Manager.
To co-ordinate with the Front office of V.I.P rooms, unexpected departures, early arrivals and extended stays and room changes.
To distribute and control the use of master key.
To ensure proper handling, storage and receiving of Lost & Found items
To monitor guest supplies, bathroom amenities and stationary and reduce spoilage and wastage
To inspect all guest corridors, service areas, lift landing areas and fire stairs for
Cleanliness daily.
Qualifications
Ideally with a relevant degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management. Minimum 2 years work experience hotel operations. Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
