In line with the company sales strategy a dedicated Sales Person is required to:
- Proactively engage potential clients with the goal of closing the sale.
- Support the Directors of the company in their sales initiatives.
- Manage the administrative aspects of the sales pipeline, facilitate the onboarding of clients and post-sales support.
Duties
Education
- Assist in the prospecting and lead generation efforts of the company.
- Make initial contact where required with prospective clients, such as from online and email leads and referrals.
- Conduct sales calls through appropriate mediums as required (e.g. participate in client visits/physical or virtual meetings as required)
- Facilitate initial contact and / or sales meetings for senior executives or directors and be in attendance if required.
- Follow up with the executives or directors where they are seeing the client and obtain “Next steps”, and engage as required.
- Perform “Next steps” and necessary follow-ups with own client sales.
- Obtain relevant client information if the client wishes to continue further.
- Access CIPC and verify all details.
- Prepare an NDA and send it through to the client’.
- Facilitate the full signing of the NDA and return the fully signed NDA to the prospective client.
- Liaise with the executives and directors to put together a pack to send to client.
- Conduct any necessary data analysis towards drafting /compilation of necessary management reports/information sheets on prospects and sales pipeline
- Collaborate in query handling and obtain the necessary information to ensure client perception and expectations are aligned
- Contribute towards including collating information necessary for any client feedback and /or reporting required
- Five to ten years sales experience in financial services, or the B-BBEE arena as a sales consultant, or business developer.
Education
- BCom or other Commerce related degree
- Marketing knowledge
- IT and information systems advantageous
